Nic
Hi, I’m Nic, and this is Sally. We’ve been with Bloom since its inception, and previously, we’ve been with James for about 12 years.

Sally  
We originally got in touch with James because we had various pensions all over the place, and we needed to get a really good handle on our financial position.

Nic
I came across James when I used to deliver for Royal Mail. I used to deliver to their office, and I got on with them quite well. So, when the opportunity came up and we decided to find a financial adviser, James was the first person we went to.

Sally  
We decided to work with James because Nic had that relationship and felt confident and safe talking to James about our financial position with the comfort that we knew him. I felt very confident going and having that discussion with James initially.

James has helped us out quite considerably from the start. He discovered pensions that I didn’t even know I had. During Covid, he helped us buy this house when it was a very trying time. We’ve learned how Nick can start his retirement process. We’ve currently got builders in, and James and Jess are there to help us if we need to access any money. So, there have been a lot of very positive ways that James and Jess have helped us over the years.

I feel, having worked with James and Jess, that my financial future is really positive. They’ve put us in the right direction and explained things very easily. I think we’re in a position now that’s better than when we first started.

Working with James, Jess, and the rest of the team at Bloom gives us a lot of confidence that our future interests are being looked after properly, and they genuinely do have our best interests at heart. When we have our review meetings, it’s very personable, and they know exactly what’s going on in our lives. It’s a really friendly, not dull or boring, financial relationship.

You can ask a question and get a pretty instantaneous answer, and you can keep going back and asking more questions, and they’re really good at just coming back and helping you whenever you’ve got a financial query outside of your regular reviews.

I would certainly recommend Bloom to anybody. They’re professional and honest. I don’t have any concerns with their arrangements and how they’re set up, and I think they’ve only got our best interests at heart when investing our money.
